About
Aderita Silva, renowned visual artist, born in Almancil - Algarve, Portugal, was born in 1958. As a child, her family moved to Paris, France. His curiosity and love for art were nurtured by history and artistic life as a cultural reference throughout his childhood. In 1989, she returned to Portugal with the desire to express her chromatic language. Perfecting her art and developing her distinctive abstract approach using various artistic techniques. Recognized for her ability to capture emotion and for the sake of aesthetics through the use of different techniques, a wide palette of color and movement, her works are dynamic and full of poetry at the same time.
Aderita already has "Private Collections" spread across Europe and beyond Germany, Ireland, Belgium, England, Ireland, Serbia and the United States.
She played a key role in coordinating the movement within the artistic community of the Algarve, in the urban intervention StreetArt. Curator of several exhibitions at the Festival Med de Loulé,
As part of her constant search for sharing, she created her own gallery in Almancil in 2000. Organizes and hosts several exhibitions of the most varied local, national and international artists from all fields, (Painting, Sculpture, StreetArt, Design and fashion) also recognized in the world of Art.
With delightful energy, she also promotes several “art workshops” encouraging artists to pick up and develop their own creative talents and more.
Her artistic merit is not limited to the plastic arts; singing is her favorite pastime. Baroque music is a passion. Aderita participates in various cultural events, contemporary dance and performances where questioning arises as an open path towards oneself and the world.
